Stylish Limente LUXUS series switch

With the LIMENTE SMART LUXUS series, you create lighting control in a simple and stylish way, for example in the kitchen and other areas at home. The lights are controlled by a stylish glass-framed wall switch with an on/off function and a dimming feature. With the CCT model (SMART 563), you can also adjust the color temperature of the lights (if you have purchased CCT luminaires). The stylish wall switch-like controller is mounted wherever you want it on the wall. Due to the slimness of the switch, it looks like recessed wall switch despite the surface mounting.

The switch does not need any wiring as it works wirelessly, so it can also be placed freely in the desired place in the room. There can be several controls to control the same lights, and with one switch you can control several different lights, making it easy to expand the system afterwards. In this way, you can easily create light control, for example, in a staircase, where the lights must be able to be switched off and on both from upstairs and downstairs. Lighting control does not require separate electrical installations, only an electrical outlet is needed. You do not need an electrician to install this product, you can easily do it yourself.

Classic and Luxus series switches can be connected to Limente and Schneider Exxact frames, but not to ABB Impressivo frames.

Adjusting the lights

By adjusting the lights, you can always customize the lighting and create the right lighting for the situation. By dimming the LIMENTE lights, you change the lighting in your home from efficient and bright to dim and cozy. If you wish, you can use the same switch to adjust all the LIMENTE lamps in the room, including the various ceiling, panel and work lights. The lights adjust evenly, smoothly and simultaneously, changing the atmosphere of the entire space. With the LIMENTE SMART dimmer, you can continuously adjust the light output of the LIMENTE LED luminaires from 0 to 100%.

LIMENTE SMART 543 is a one-part wall switch. The controller has an on / off function and dimming. On / Off works with a short press and a long press dims / brightens the light.

The LIMENTE SMART 544 two-part wall switch is also available in the LIMENTE SMART LUXUS series and can be used to control two separate light groups. For example, if you want to control the work lights on two different sides of the kitchen separately. In addition, the collection includes the LIMENTE SMART 542 white two-piece switch, which has the same functions as the black SMART 544 wall switch. If you want to adjust more than one LIMENTE luminaire (not CCT version), order one LIMENTE SMART 540 dimmer unit for each power supply in addition to the basic set. The product code for the dimmer section used with LIMENTE CCT luminaires is 640560 and the controller code is 640563.

Installation

LIMENTE SMART 540 is a wireless 24 V dimmer that is installed between the power supply and the lights. The dimmer has the same connector-part as the power supply and the same connectors as the 24 V lights. There is place for a maximum of 6 lights. 1 dimmer is required for each light group (1 per each power supply). The LIMENTE SMART 540 dimmer unit can be used with all 24 V LIMENTE lights

You need at least one dimmer and one switch (640540, 640560 or CCT) for light control. Installation and pairing is simple and quick. Often, the socket for power supply is on top of the upper cabinets in the kitchen, in which case the dimmer part is also placed there. The dimmer part is installed between the power supply and the lights using plug and socket connectors. The stylish wall switch (controller) is then mounted at the desired place on the wall. The switch and dimmer unit should be paired and then the system is ready for use.

If you need more dimmers or controls, you should also pair them with each other. With pairing, the dimmer recognizes the signal sent by the controller, making the system ready for use. Pairing is a simple and quick! You’ll find clear instructions also on our Youtube channel.
