A versatile LED strip

LIMENTE IP20 PRO-STRIPS are part of the LIMENTE PRO collection, where the technical characteristics of the luminaire, such as colour rendering, are as good as possible. PROCOM- ja PROLUX LED-strips are used in kitchen lighting as an indirect light, for example behind the mirrors, in plinths, in furniture, in ceilings, and anywhere where the lamp needs to be as invisible as possible. PROLITE LED-strips, on the other hand, are well suited for closet and mood lighting. Especially when installed in the LIMENTE PROFILE, the light is pleasently even.

The length of the PRO-series LED-strips lengths are 2, 4 and 5 meters. Only the best components are used as standard in the models, and its light output and efficiency are excellent, the color reproduction is at a really high level (the colors of the illuminated object are reproduced as natural as possible) and the color temperature can be selected either 3000 K or 4000 K.

LIMENTE IP20 PRO-series led-strips are available in four versions: PROCOM 5 meters (1000/1100 lm/m, 128 led/m, CRI>80, 3000 K, 4000 K) ja PROLITE 5 meters (500 lm/m, 128 led/m, CRI>80, 3000 K ja 4000 K), PROLUX 5 meters (1300 lm/m, 144 led/m, CRI>90, 3000 K ja 4000 K) and PROLUX 2 ja 4 meters (1300 lm/m, 140 led/m, CRI >80, 3000 K ja 4000 K).

5 meter LED-strips both ends of the strip have a standard 3 cm + 200 cm long cord while the 2- and 4-meters LED-strips both ends of the strip have a standard 5 cm + 300 cm long cord. If this is not enough, you can order an extension cord (3 m), item number 681588. Extension cables can be connected up to 1 pcs / light fixture, allowing a cable length of up to 5m (5 m LED-strips) and up to 6m (2 and 4 m LED-strips). At both ends, the current power supply cable makes it possible to use the LED-strip in two parts. This avoids unnecessary waste and allows the tape to be installed from the power supply in two directions. In addition to this, it is also possible to extend the LED strip with separate LED strip extension connectors, so that one for example 5m LED strip can be used in several smaller sections.

To use LIMENTE PRO-series LED-strips, you’ll need a suitable 24V power supply. Compatible products are mentioned alongside the product. The profile, the led strip and the power supply are also sold separately.

Dimming and lightcontrol

By adjusting the lights, it is easy to create appropriate lighting for different occasions. By dimming LIMENTE LED-strip you can change your home’s lighting from efficient and bright to dim and cosy. You can use the same switch to adjust all the LIMENTE lights in the room, including various ceiling-, panel- and profile lights. The lamps adjust smoothly at the same time, while simultaneously changing the ambience of the space.

LIMENTE PRO LED-strip is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE series 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640543, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. You can connect up to 6 LIMENTE lights to one dimmer, as long as the maximum load (W) of the power supply is not exceeded.

The LED-strip is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

LIMENTE IP20 PRO-strip is fast and easy to install.

The power supply cable, often hidden behind the cabinet, is put in place so that the male connector comes close to the power source and the female near the LED-strip. The light tape is pressed into the desired surface using 2-way tape and finally the power supply cable is pressed against the light strip and the power supply. All electrical connections are made simply by quick connectors.

The LIMENTE PRO-series 2 and 4 meters LED-strips can be trimmed at about 5 cm intervals while the 5 meter LED-strips can be trimmed at about 6 cm intervals. Led-strips both ends have a power supply, so you can use both ends separately if wanted. LED-strip should always be attached to heat-conductive material such as an optional LED-PROFILE. This will ensure long lifetime of the LED-tape. The list also allows for installation under a drying cabinet, and its protective matt glass makes the light even more smooth. In all cases, make sure that the fastening surface is absolutely clean and dry before attaching the LED-strip.
